I would have no problem with the young actor category if the top age was 17. There are some very good child actors in soaps who get air time and solid storylines, like Violet.

But the award was a joke because it kept going to actors in their 20's, many of them married with kids.

I'm ok with an award for those who are totally new to soaps and come in and kill it. At least there is no risk of an actor winning multiple times.
