with all of this information that she came upon, that might be different. She always mentioned Dante should know, but I don't recall much being said about Gio or whoever the child turned out to be. Also, she should not have been discussing the situation at a very public event even when you think no one could overhear your conversation. In a town like PC where people are either related or they all know each other, the chances are that someone at the NB might hear the conversation.
You're forgetting that she only suspected it was Gio recently. She had no proof. That's why I am shocked that neither Lulu or Cody thought of a paternity test. Carly told Lulu to be careful as this would affect a lot of lives. I think people are overlooking the fact that she has remained silent for months on the very existence of the child. She could have told Dante but BLQ tearfully begged her not to and then Chase threatened her into silence. During yesterday's conversation, Dante asked her point blank why she didn't tell him right away. So he at least believes that part of her motivation was to clue him in. Did you catch his reaction to learning she told Carly? He was like...you told Carly and Cody but not me. Lulu was reckless to have such a sensitive conversation backstage at the Nurses Ball, but she wasn't arguing in that room alone was she? At any moment Lois could have said: Let's not talk about this here. She didn't. They argued so both share the blame in Gio overhearing.
As far as Lulu and Dante "never" getting back together, it seemed they were moving too quickly with this anyway after Sam's death.
Lulu and Dante are endgame here. They already admitted they still have romantic feelings for each other. Molly and Cody are just getting started. Dante and Lulu are going to have tension filled encounters but both will remain single. This is all fresh. Feelings are raw. We won't see Lulu and Cody anytime soon--if at all.
