In fact, Lucky's whole return has been extremely disappointing. It has been start/stop with no solid storyline -- just occasional unconnected scenes. Just a bunch of unconnected scenes. Few scenes with his mother, few scenes with his sister. Few scenes with the doctor he was imprisoned by Sidwell with. Few scenes with/about Sidwell.
His being with Kristine when the accident happened has been the most he has really done -- and it was as a secondary role in a secondary storyline.
I am not against Liz and Lucky getting back together. I am against the show bringing the character back after all these years and immediately throwing him on the back burner.
It is hard to care about a character when the writers don't appear to be interested in them.
