We all know that Willow has epitomized a malleable, moronic Stepford Wife. It's been painful to watch and her fall and endless pearl-clutching, once she learns the gravity of each dastardly deed--will be legendary. The option to get her on the path to redemption would be this:

Willow and Drew plan their wedding and someone Willow learns about his role in GermanyGate. Perhaps she overhears a conversation or thinks back to the vial that Drew was holding that day. This causes her to question things and so she starts digging and uncovers more. Willow then gets the idea to trick Drew by telling him what she learned and lies and says--no man has ever gone to such lengths to prove how much they love me. Thank you. Drew is taken aback by this but falls for it. We all know how much this man loves to talk about himself and brag about how he outsmarts everyone. She gets him to tell her details. Unbeknownst to Drewfus--Willow secretly set up her a nanny-cam and captured the entire thing.
I would love for Willow to discover Drew's machinations on her own once she gets back her brain cells. She starts seeing little things that make her question Drew's motives and actions.
FF to their wedding day. They are both at the altar and when the officiator says: Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband? Willow responds: Hell no! And she then humiliates Drew by telling him how truly awful he is and that she recorded their conversation and she released it online. Willow tells Drew that it's over and she is no longer his puppet. She goes to walk away and Drew grabs her arm to plead with her and Willow hauls off and slaps him.
This would be perfect, which guarantees that it won't happen :(
That's it in a nutshell but you get the idea. Instead of Jason, Michael, or Nina swooping in to save Willow from Drew's clutches--how about she saves herself? Let her take control and be her own hero for once.
THIS!! I am always for victims to take control and break free. I would love it if Willow rescued herself.
I really don't know how they can redeem Drew after all of this. Unless he becomes a complete villain, I don't see a future for him on the show.
