not just have overtures towards them with Ric messing things up again-1 option. Also, they would discover that Cameron is actually Ric's son and not Zander's. I mean they were married twice, and they lost a child, so why not discover that they had one that lived?
Bring Franco back from the dead (why not due to the many that have already made that journey) and reunite him with Elizabeth-a 2nd option.
Basically, a story with Elizabeth in it, not as a sidelined character, would be a good option.
Stop writing dialogue with the same characters saying almost the same things so frequently; and when they are not on, stop having other people talking about them with the same topics.
Maybe something for Sonny outside of the mob or something besides the recycled story of people either out to get him or people all out to save him (already mentioned by others).
