And that's not saying much but at least things happened and stories were created or moved forward.
Hospital Happenings - Man. This Maxie exit story scenes are so much like Lulu's 4 years ago. Um, Bradford (Spinelli) continues to be cringe. OMG! He's going form zero to 60 and his hysterics are ridiculous. I get being scared, but this is way OTT and he doesn't have the range to pull it off even 10%. His scenes at Maxie's bedside were much better. James broke my heart and wow--look at that, Lulu took BLQ's hand in a moment of solidarity.
BA imo is a decent actor when hes toned down. But when hes upset, hysterical or unnerved in some way hes unwatchable. I saw a clip of Spinelli recently from when he first came on and it's so damn cringy. They've really toned him down in the last 10yrs, but every so often.....yikes.
The Grill - Sorry. But I still don't feel even an ounce of sorrow for Alexis. Yes. Drew is being absolutely cruel but she was plotting to get custody of Scout. Drew has been neglectful and he isn't acting in Scout's best interest but Alexis said he was an abusive father and I don't agree with that at all. An attempt on his life is coming. Alexis brought this all on herself and Drewfus simply outplayed her.
I dont disagree about Alexis. But I just can't with Drew. But I will say this, I have never liked CM in any way whatsoever....but imo, this is the best acting hes ever done. The smirks, villainous grins....hes doing a good job at being horrible. I just cant stand his face.
Q Mansion - I am getting sick of Molly and her woes is me schtick. Find your backbone girl. And color me surprised. Cody actually told the truth. The whole truth and nothing but the truth. Too little too late. Listening him try to explain that he did it all for Molly was beyond a stretch. No punk. You did it for the 💵
This is all ffwd material for me. I love Ava but I just can't with Cody and Molly. They both suck
Casa de Davis - Damn! Ric H was on fire today. The Kristina/Ric scenes were very good. And this is the second episode in a row where Kristina got her ass chewed out. I don't think the writers did a good job explaining why Ric turned on Ava--to the point of stealing her divorce settlement. We know why Ava turned on Ric. He was holding the purse strings. What's going to happen next? I could totally see Ava having Ric tied up or shackled and holding him for 30 days until the bonds mature and stating she will only let him go if he returns her money. It would be poetic justice for Panic Room! I don't think Ric is going to die an even though we already saw this when she bashed Nikolas--I think Ric is about to be a prisoner. Maybe she will stash him at her 2nd gallery because it hasn't opened yet. But this is about to get interesting with Kristina and Ava as co-conspirators.
He turned on Ava because he figured out she'd turned on him weeks ago. And yes, RH was absolutely on fire today. Some of his best scenes since hes returned.
Croatia Chaos - Steve and Kelly T still have chemistry. I saw it today. And you can see that she still has feelings for him. I liked that Jason acknowledged her hurt when he abruptly dropped her to marry Carly. It was good when he corrected himself going from "I know how much that hurt you, to I know how much I hurt you." And he did. Regardless if they were seriously 3, 6, 9 weeks. It doesn't matter. Jason is the first person Britt opened her heart to in years and he burned her. It's good that he owned it.
Good scenes between these two. I agree they have pretty good chemistry.
And I have a new guess on who the body Rocco/Danny will see in the river. I think it will be Collette, Jack's WSB agent.
Could very well be. He threatens her tomorrow. Personally I think it has to do with Sidwell/Sonny, probably the judge....but im not sure. I wish it was Drew, but fat chance there. 😆
