It is. At least give them real conflict not this meow mix of cattiness we've seen this week.
I don't mind Britt needing a job/money storyline because she can't rely on what she had before and all her assets got frozen. She doesn't want to be Jason's kept woman and it gets her back in the hospital so that's fun.
Ah good point. I forgot Liesl mentioned Britt's assets are frozen. But come on, she's alive--go to the bank, show ID, fill out the paperwork and get your funds back. I am just tired of the writers using this. This year alone we've seen: Ava, Martin, and now Britt impoverished.
I suspect Britt will be back as chief of staff soon enough, probably when the truth about all Portia has done comes out. They might even oust Terry because she will be "guilty by association" with Portia's actions while they were co-chiefs. Britt will become the sole one.
I really think this is where this is headed, so I imagine we have scenes coming up where Liz, Lucas, Portia and maybe even Terry ordering her around. Fun!
