surefire way of Sonny keeping the piers. If it works, then he gains some traction with his brother. But with CH (Diane) being out due to her 2nd surgery--watch Ric ends up as Sonny's lawyer. I don't know why they haven't already written Diane's injury into the show.
It's very strange though. I could swear Sonny and Ric made up. I know he was his lawyer during the first custody battle over Avery. It's when Ava tricked Sonny into threating to fill her so full of holes--they wouldn't even be able to recognize the body. She recorded it and Scott played it in court. The judge granted Ava full custody. This was long after panic room. I don't recall what happened to have them on the outs again.
I do recall they have always been more at odds than brothers. But I will NEVER forget the ridiculous dialogue where Ric told Sonny: Maybe things would have been different between us if we grew up together and shared a balloon. I remember an interview RH did where he said they had to do it a few times because he kept laughing.
