I could be wrong. I believe she is so freaked out because she feels trapped. Her father is the big bad and she knows how deadly he is. And now she knows how deadly Sidwell is. Doing her father’s bidding is the only way to keep receiving the experimental drug to keep her symptoms at bay. She told Jason before they made love that she was afraid of the final stages of the disease. Jason promised to be there with her thru it all.
