They're out of ideas. Why not just have them admit they prefer pizza over turkey and not go through this rigamarole every year? You know, just order pizza every year and don't go through the motions of wanting a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It's clear they just want to continue the tradition with the pizza, so just leave it at that for once.
