Who's Coming
Bluesy Burke (Charlotte Cassadine): The teen’s already complicated life is about to get more complex, as news that her dad, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), has escaped from the clutches of the WSB makes waves across Port Charles.
Finn Carr (Rocco Falconeri): Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) son gets some frustrating news this week.
Nazneen Contractor (Acting District Attorney Justine Turner): Turner has a telling conversation with her colleague in the DA’s office, Molly (Kristen Vaganos), on the subject of Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Marc Forget (Pascal): Expect to see more of Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) trusted associate as he continues his duties as Wyndemere’s butler.
Paige Herschell (Jacinda Bracken): Jacinda and Michael (Rory Gibson) became lovers last week, and their attraction continues to deepen this week.
Finola Hughes (Anna Devane): Anna went missing last month but she was abruptly abducted by a mystery menace. This week, the story of her fate picks back up as viewers get their first glimpse of the beloved character in her new, forced environs. Will Anna be able to figure out who is holding her hostage — and why?
Michael E. Knight (Martin Grey): Martin has the honors, if they can be called that, of presiding over the wedding of Drew and Willow.
Wally Kurth (Ned Quartermaine): Ned continues to savor life after his stint in the hospital, recovering from a heart attack, and shares touching scenes with his daughter, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton).
Jen Ray (Suzanne): Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) trusted assistant at Miller & Davis is called to duty this week. Expect her to appear in scenes not only with her boss, but with arguably Alexis’s most high-profile client, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), who is preparing for her upcoming trial on charges of the attempted murder of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), her new husband.
James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine): The popular actor, who made his Port Charles debut in 2016, continues his comeback as a fugitive Valentin makes life very tricky for his new co-conspirator, Carly (Laura Wright). This past March, when Valentin was first shipped off to Steinmauer to begin serving a life sentence at the maximum security prison overseas, the actor told Soap Opera Digest that on his last day of work, “There was a sort of strange calm as I was leaving. I just love the crew and so it was like, ‘I really hope I see you [again]!’ But at the same time, I’ve got a very full life, a great family and I know that I’m good. So really, at this point, it’s just whatever feeds the show and is good for the show, and I have faith that the people in charge of those decisions are doing the absolute best they can.”
Who's Going
Robert Gossett (Marshall Ashford): The two-time Daytime Emmy-winner returned when Marshall spent Thanksgiving with son Curtis (Donnell Turner) and their loved ones, but has wrapped his visit.
Jeff Kober (Cyrus Renault): Laura’s (Genie Francis) murderous half brother, who was fatally shot by Josslyn () in self-defense earlier this year, made a one-day comeback last week when Daytime Emmy-winner Kober returned as the villain haunted his sister in her nightmare.
Avery Pohl (Esme Prince): Daytime Emmy-nominated actress Pohl, who played bad girl Esme from 2021-24, made a surprise return to Port Charles last week when she popped up as her presumed-dead character in a troubled Laura’s dream.
Casting About
Bryce Durfee has been MIA on GH as Vaughn ever since Brennan had his WSB minions haul the agent away for violating agency policy by continuing his illicit relationship with Josslyn — but that doesn’t mean that the actor hasn’t been keeping busy! The actor has been tapped to co-star alongside All My Children alum Lacey Chabert (ex-Bianca) in a new film for The Hallmark Channel, Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, which will be part of the network’s 2026 holiday programming. The flick is set at at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, FL and is filming on location there.
All For A Good Cause
Rena Sofer (Lois, GH) and Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda, GH) are spearheading a Zoom fundraiser on January 10, 2026 called SNAPP Out Hunger (Spotlighting Necessary Aid for People and Pets) to support food banks for people and animals across the country. “People are in positions now where if they can’t feed their families they are taking their animals to the shelter,” explains Sofer. “We’re trying to keep people from having to make that heartbreaking choice.” The actress adds that Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, Y&R), Annika Noelle (Hope, B&B) and Laura Wright (Carly, GH) are “helping out tremendously, and we would love someone at DAYS to join us.” Highlights will include fun videos from soap stars telling stories “and a surprising person even sings,” winks Sofer. All money raised goes directly to the charities. Tickets and more information are available through Coastal Entertainment.
Alumni Report
Jeff Kober (ex-Cyrus, GH) has landed a recurring role on one of the most acclaimed series on TV, The Pitt. Throughout the HBO drama’s second season, which is premiering in January 2026, he will play a character named Duke…. Variety reports that Kim Matula (ex-Hope, B&B) has also booked a coveted part on a much-buzzed-about series — in her case, The Hunting Wives on Netflix. Her name character is named Nadia Kelly, but further details are being kept hush-hush. The Hunting Wives already has two daytime alumnae in its cast, Brittany Snow (ex-Susan Lemay, GL) and Jaime Ray Newman (ex-Kristina Cassadine, GH). The show’s sophomore season is currently in production.
