So Marcos wants Lucas to stay at Wyndemere and simply not go down into the catacombs.
What will happen to Lucas if he walks in at the wrong time and sees/hears something he shouldn't? What if he wants avoid Pascal or not interrupt a Sidwell business meeting and escapes into the catacombs and find Anna? Boring is one thing being knowingly clueless is another.
Marcos cannot love Lucas and insist they stay in a house of secrets that could well cost Lucas his life. When this story finally shifts from exposition to the meat of the story I really want Marcus to go down with the rest of the conspirators. Given what is going on in that house, Marcus is only thinking about what he wants regardless of the danger it poses to the man he SAYS he loves. Don't know where the quote comes from, but his actions are so loud I can't hear what he says.
