Most of the time we saw TJ he was a background character at the hospital, since he was a doctor. He did have a few scenes during the surrogacy storyline, mostly looking dour.
I remember seeing an online Soap Opera Digest photo of the actor laughing backstage and though what a waste we never got to see his character having fun or having secondary relationships.
The reason I keep saying a romance does not a storyline make, is that once the couple gets together they end up on the back burner. I suspect once Cody and Molly get together, they will become background characters.
