I honestly feel like they are hedging their bets here. We all know they like to chem test actors. I feel like if LiRic goes kablooey again--they have options: Dante and Drew. There was also the rumor out there that Ric is going to die. I hope not. He's to good a character to kill off and a damn good actor. I don't see a ton of chemistry between Dante and Liz yet. Potential but not even a spark for me.
I am someone who hated Franco when he was played by JF and that didn't change when RH took over the role. I enjoyed Franco when he humiliated Carly at their wedding but what made me love him was his relationship with Elizabeth. To this day, I still don't know why they killed him off only to bring him back as the utterly useless Austin Gatlin-Holt.
