times. What can we say about people who believe diversity, equality, inclusion and justice are all dirty words and awful unfair concepts?

It is all rooted in them feeling like they have lost their rightful white male privilege. They want to go back to a time when white men automatically got the best of everything, including jobs and wives, solely because they were white men, regardless of how mediocre or outright unqualified they were. And the rest of us — women, POC, immigrants, etc — got their crumbs, whatever white men didn’t want.

They equate DEI with the loss of that automatic white male privilege and feel like white men are now the most oppressed demographic in the US. They, of course, still retain a certain amount of white privelige, such as not being shot by police on their front porch because the police thought their cellphone was a gun.
