Kevin McCarthy: “I’ll give you the truth why I'm not speaker. It's because one person, a member of Congress [Matt Gaetz] wanted me to stop an ethics complaint because he slept with a 17-year-old.”

If McCarthy's going to publicly accuse someone of pedophilia, he may want to qualify the statement with "allegedly" slept with a 17-year-old.

Wow.

There's a reason Gaetz was one of the Republicans who sought a pardon, and not just for 1/6.
