...I think it's possible Biden's absolute failing of showing sufficient public concern for what's happened to the Palestinians may ultimately cost him the election, because it's caused young voters to flee from him, especially young Black voters (as well as a huge chunk of Arab-American support). They aren't impressed by "Trump would be worse." I think the polls suggesting they're going to vote for Trump are unlikely to be accurate - I think they're just not going to vote, and that may well be enough to do Biden in. I have a friend whose mother is Palestinian, whose family lost their home in the settlements - honestly, I don't feel I have a good argument for why she should support Biden, given how directly her family has been impacted by the Democrats never giving much more of a **** about Palestine than the Republicans do. "Because Trump's worse" doesn't sound...sufficient in the face of what's happened. It's why I'm going to vote for Biden, but I don't think I have a good argument to make to her.

And I don't think Biden can turn it around at this point, even if he seemed inclined to do so, which he doesn't seem to. I think he massively misread especially the younger base, which is a lot more sympathetic to Palestine and at least wary of Israel, if not overtly hostile. "Trump's worse than me" is not a winning argument for Biden to make.
