So many thoughts about this...bear with me.

How exactly did these lovely worshippers get through Bible school without reading Exodus 20:4-5:

You are not to craft for yourselves an idol or anything resembling what is in the skies above, or on earth beneath, or in the water sources under the earth. You are not to bow down to them in worship or serve them, because I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the guilt of parents on children, to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.

This is as serious as it gets. Make and worship idols and you will pay, your children will pay, your grandchildren will pay, your greatchildren will pay. Serious enough to punish innocents; yet, hey, let's go for it anyway!

Literally, the Second Commandment also forbids idolatry.

Putting aside the Right is doing all it can to get the separation of Church and State before the Supreme Court, can we take a moment to appreciate the mental jujitsu evangelicals are performing right now? Louisianans made it a law to post the 10 Commandments in schools, but Reps. will vote for a man who has broken every single ****ing one of them and continues to do so.
