He is exactly as I've always known he was - a good and decent human being. Two things that would never be used to describe TFG.
But the way this was all handled, was BS. If there were concerns over his ability to go another 4 years, they should have been discussed in private. Not issued as an Op Ed piece for everyone to see. I will never forgive George Clooney, Stephen King, Rob Reiner et al, for the way that Joe was treated. For everything he has accomplished in the past 3-1/2 years as President, and decades in the Senate, he deserved better.
