The majority of Americans support Israel GENERALLY, but not this conflict specifically. Polling shows that the majority of Americans want a ceasefire in Gaza immediately, and Biden is found to be mishandling this conflict by about a 30 point margin. In particular, he has been bleeding support with younger voters.

For me, while I don't think he can necessarily control Israel, I've found Biden's lack of empathy for Palestinians to be stunning. Again and again and again, when he has EASY opportunities to show he's horrified by the level of death and violence in Gaza, it's like he forgets the Palestinians are...you know, human beings. As deserving in empathy as any Israeli civilian is. And I don't think it's calculated, to be honest. I don't. I think he doesn't care. It's changed my opinion of him. Negatively.
