They come to games in the 3rd Inning and leave in the 7th.
One time, when LW was about 1 and we were visiting relatives in SoCal, we went to see the Yankees play the Angels in Anaheim. It was a nail biter of a game. Decided in the final inning with a Yankee win. Great game.
And people were actually leaving in the 7th and 8th.
Who remained? The many Yankee fans. We had the stadium to ourselves. One fan always brought a boombox with him (went there many times when I lived in LA), and he'd play the Yankees' theme song, "New York, New York" at the end of a game.
So, OK, that evening, with only the Yankee fans and the Edison Field bats remaining (lots of bats, awww so cute yes, CUTE), we got to pretend we were in Yankee Stadium, but with little bats flying close to your face, LOL.
