MORE in some ways. They care about the earth having limited resources, so they're not adding to the population. I've heard some child-free people say they can't bear the thought of bringing a child into a world that's already such a mess. Conversely, I've heard people who have children say they wanted kids to "continue the line" or "to have someone to unconditionally love them" or "to have someone to take care of me in my old age", which all sounds...pretty selfish to me.
Having children is such a personal, complex and life-changing decision, and I respect people on both sides--parents and non-parents-- who make an informed decision to have or not have kids. This shouldn't be a political decision AT. ALL.
