I talk about it in my own country's politics, but it's fascinating to me. I have a hardcore corrupt idiot running my province and people will STILL think he's good on the economy. This man made us get new license plates for no reason and somehow no one checked to see if they were reflective or not. Cops immediately clocked that they were unreadable at night.
Good, solid, efficient leadership right there. We just watched him set money on fire. He's gutted education and health. He has several schemes that are clearly just to enrich himself and his friends. We've watched him get caught with his hand in the cookie jar over and over again. It doesn't STICK. And who can even really say why, but it doesn't.
