Trump jumpstarted the movement when he was first elected, and he's now striking back to protect men's long-held right to assault women.

His chosen picks and all the sexual accusations are a feature, not a bug. Trump’s a sexual predator and thinks that's admirable. The Kavanaugh hearings cemented Trump's assumption that being viewed as a sex criminal is *good* for his nominees. The ability to commit crimes — especially sex crimes — and get away with it is part of the allure of Trumpism.
