the new norm and even if the bird flu was completely over, they will never bring the price back down below $5-6/dozen. Instead, the egg industry will just rake in record profits. Do not accept $5-6/dozen as reasonable. It’s just the lowest price we can find right now.

I still wonder what’s happening to all of the $13/dozen eggs that nobody buys after they expire.
