comes to a complete stop. So many times, when I’m flying, people pop up and start opening overhead bins as soon as the plane is on the ground. I get it; people need to make connections. But wait until the plane is stopped. The pilot is stopping a jet that was moving very fast.
I’m glad there were no deaths in this Delta accident in Toronto. It must have been terrifying to be in that plane when it flipped. Here in NYC, we had pretty severe delays at all of our airports yesterday and today because of heavy wind. Gusts were 40-50 mph. Hundreds of trees down in NYC.
I don’t think there is any reason for this to be on the political board. But we live in a time when the cost of eggs has to be discussed on the political board, so who knows?
