I am not for government shutdown. I agree that Republicans play dirty and the Dems have no cards to play. That doesn't mean they shouldn't make every good faith effort to keep the government open. I think that they should have gone for the seven week extension and then negotiated. Admittedly, I know next to nothing about what is involved in the process. I wish we could all do better.
