I mean, today, honestly, I didn't really care that much. I was too wound up after yesterday. But at least as of now, I'll get back pay when they open again. I'm worried about our contractors :( Our food employees are all contractors, and if they don't work, they don't get paid. And there's no "contractor back pay" rule, that's not a thing.
Now, if this goes on into next week, I will probably freak out more. Technically I'll get most of a pay check for the pay period that ends on Friday, because it's my NW day anyway - I work 45 hours the first week and 35 the second week so I have every other Friday off. So I'm only showing as furloughed for two days. Not awesome, but not a disaster. Into the next week...yeah, I'll start freaking out. And I'm sure Vought IS trying to fire as many of us as possible - it's just he was already doing that.
Also, the entire region is taking another hit, when it really can't afford one.
