OMG, the Repugs will hate him. He's gay and proud,
and despite his skinny and very tall frame (he has Crohn's that's why he is so thin), he takes no crap from anyone, even though he receives constant threats to him and his children and husband. He's bold and takes risks. And I will enjoy every minute of him tearing them apart with his words and standing up to their crap.
He's an expert on state budget (Senate Budget Chair), housing and land use, Rx drugs and so much more. He was the author of the two big CEQA reform bills that were in the news, got legislation passed to limit insulin copays and etc to $35 a month, and also to regulate PBMs.
