better because it really happened.

All I got at ON was the cheap pajama pants and a matching top. The top was originally $20, down to $10, and I got another $3 off because of being a loyalty rewards member with cash saved up or whatever. So overall, I spent $12 and change for a new pair of pjs...I probably could've gotten pajamas for slightly less at another store but I really liked these and they were a decent enough deal.

All I wanted from Michael's was a specific brand of pour paint and maybe a bag of bead caps (I roll paper beads and make jewelry with them). I didn't find any caps and of course the pour paint I wanted was one of only a couple things not on sale at the store. But they had stringed beads on a good sale, and I found a photo album that was considerably cheaper than another one I was considering buying online, plus I got some paint for bff that will be part of her Christmas gift and a round canvas for ME and a couple small Christmas crafts for ME and a couple charms for ME, ME, ME. It was an expensive but very successful trip. I tried to mitigate spending all that money by concentrating on what I DIDN'T get; for example, I saw a very pretty Christmas wall hanging that I lingered over but ultimately passed on, plus there was a cute decorative box that was on a good sale but I didn't really NEED it (though I collect small decorative boxes) and I didn't get anything else at Old Navy, which is a rarity for me and hey, I was considering treating myself to lunch but ultimately came home and ate leftovers, so there's that <g>.
