you’ll love this show. Larry David co-created Seinfeld and created CYE. I’ve only watched 5 episodes so far and I’ve laughed out loud during each one. The writing process is interesting. Larry David writes an outline of the story for each episode and the actors do a lot of improv. CYE takes place in LA, not NYC like Seinfeld. Larry David plays a semi-retired comedy writer and producer who is a semi-fictionalized version of himself. His character is named Larry David. He has written or co-written the story for every episode. They were just renewed for a twelfth season. The stories, like Seinfeld, are mostly about the minutiae of life.
