Every year we adopt a family for Christmas through our neighbor's church. We've been doing it since my girls were little, and they still look forward to our shopping trip every year (they're 30 & 33 now). We always try and get everything on the kids' lists. It took me a couple of days to wrap everything. But it's all done now and waiting to be dropped off next weekend.
Now I'm setting up for a small Hannukah dinner this Friday. I did a little bit of decorating and prepared the kitchen for the Great Grating Event, lol. On Friday I will grate 10 lbs. of potatoes and who knows how many onions. Then I will fry, fry, fry! On Saturday I will degrease my kitchen, lol.
