Christmas programs with "imperfections". We had our children's Christmas program yesterday. It was adorable, and we have a few surprisingly good singers among the kiddos. We also had at least two kids fall off the riser, one kid screw up their lines and get a case of the giggles (which is FAR better than crying), a number of slap fights, poking and prodding, a bunch of "Hi mom!"s and one "GRANDMA!!!" (from the 3-5 year old group) and one epic sneeze right into the microphone at the very end of the program. THAT is the kind of Christmas program I enjoy best <g>.
But you're right...it's good to experience different things.
