exchanging gifts this year but I've already bought you some things ~ Sis" Christmas package via UPS. Over the past few years, the cost of mailing my usual box has gone up, up, up. It sailed past $30, crept through the $40 range and IIRC, last year, it was around $50. I was honestly expecting it to cost me close to $60 this year to send the traditional package and Dad graciously gave me a $50 bill to cover it.
I brought him back $21.40 change.
Honestly, while what was inside wasn't all that much, I don't think the package was THAT much smaller or lighter, so I have no idea why it was so much cheaper to send. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow, which was MUCH sooner than I was expecting (we'll see if that actually happens but I have no reason to doubt UPS). I'm calling it a Christmas miracle 🎄🙌🙏
