I should be in the kitchen starting on two dishes I need to make for tomorrow's mid afternoon meal at a friend's house, plus I'm bringing two other things that I'll make first thing in the morning. I'm really looking forward to Tuesday when the plan is to do a fat lot of NOTHING.
I wish I lived closer to you. The family was SUPPOSED to not get gifts for each other this year...of course, Sis disregarded that. I did not; consequently, I had a lot less gift wrapping to do. I adore wrapping presents and would've gladly helped you with that at least <g>. I'm thinking next year, I need to find an organization that needs help wrapping gifts so I can fill my need to do so...and use up some of the thousand boxes, bags and rolls of wrapping paper* I have upstairs.
*It's all Christmas wrapping paper, bags and boxes too. I only have a couple non-Christmas gift bags and that's it. There's just something about festive Christmas bags and boxes and wrapping paper that I can't resist. Been this way for a long time too--one year, Mom actually bought me one of those boxes with wrapping paper and coordinating bows and gift tags. It was one of my favorite gifts of all time.
