So random, but I remember having like...the best chicken enchiladas ever in a little restaurant on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia. It wasn't even totally a Mexican restaurant IIRC, just had a few Tex-Mex items. Alas, not only am I not Canadian, but I'm an East Coast girl, so I'm not sure I'll ever get back to British Columbia. And this was many, many years ago so the restaurant may well no longer exist - I have no idea what the name was, I was a teenager.
Same goes for an amazing meal I had in Tuscany and the best steak tartare I ever had in Geneva.
