Oldest Jaggett loved it so much! At two years old, everyone in the family called it "princess gumbo". Oldest Jaggett is allergic to shellfish and we found that out very early on(my Dad hosted a spicy crab boil every Summer. The only rule...please don't feed the toddlers shellfish. He did not listen. Thanks Dad! )...so my Dad would make two batches of the soup...traditional gumbo with chicken, andouille sausage, and shrimp...and 'princess gumbo'...minus the shellfish. HA!
I bet your Gumbo is amazing as well.
