I understand the people who want to do everything possible to assist their pets. but sometimes, I don't AGREE. Leo isn't 3 or 4, the measures BFF seem to want you to take will only prolong things for a couple of weeks? months? that's not for Leo, that's for them.
I think once Wednesday rolls around, you will know exactly what needs to be done. it could be that Leo has a stubborn tooth that is making it painful for him to eat, but with his health issues not eating is far worse for him......
But here's the thing, Vicky, if it is time for Leo to go, know that you have given him the very best. You and your Dad have loved him, spoiled him, taken care of him and he loves both of you. And even tho your time with him might be running short, you changed his life. And i think he changed yours as well.
I've had to put my share of pets to sleep, and if there's one thing I can tell you it's that it is so very peaceful. They fall asleep in your arms, with you loving on them. and that's what they take with them, all of that love.
