So hubby went to drive the car home and park it until the appointment with the Honda guys. He made it it 1/2 way home and had to stop for someone making a left turn onto another road. The car stalled and wouldn't start up again, at 7:30 this morning on a very busy road. Cops show up and direct traffic around him while he waits for the tow truck.
The car is now at the Honda dealership and they will try to look at it prior to the appointment which is for March 4th.
We are going to his moms tonight and he will use her car as she hasn't driven in about a year due to some health issues which are being addressed and should be resolved soon.
And speaking of his mom, oh boy. One of the daughters took her to the funeral home yesterday as mom wanted to discuss pre-arranging funeral services so the kids don't have to do it whenever she eventually dies. Which, is fine I get it, she's in her mid 80's and has had several issues the last few years that have put her in the hospital and a rehab place. However she wrote a check out and doesn't have funds in her checking account. So hubby is trying to get that taken care of as well.
Here's hoping the day gets better.
