for work today around 11 am. I must have hit the pothole worse than I originally thought, as when I came out of the post office my front driver's side tire was completely flat. Luckily my mechanic is right down the road about 3/4 of a mile. I called him and 10 minutes later (he was in the middle of something) he pulled alongside.). Tire is unfixable as there is a hole in the wall. He put the donut on for me. I told him to add whatever I owed him for that to my bill when he inspects the car next week. He said if I can get the same brand/type of tire I only need the one as the others are fairly new. If not, I would need 2.
Back to work for a little bit until we left at noon. Then to the tire place maybe a 1/2 mile from our house. Unfortunately, they don't carry that brand of tire, nor did they have a different brand of the correct size. They ordered 2 tires that will be there tomorrow. I keep a car repair fund and have just enough for the tires but then I need to start putting $ back into that fund.
So, I'm now at home, working on laundry and contemplating a drink. I am *not* going anywhere on that donut tire until the shop calls me tomorrow. I might have put 10 miles on it by the time I get the new tires.
