he did. He had said earlier that he didn't think the eclipse was a "big deal"...but he was the one constantly checking the weather and he was the one who wore his glasses the longest and spent the most time actually observing the eclipse.
And I didn't think Sis and BIL looked too big for a double bed.
Honestly? I don't think they do either. I thought maybe they should've at least tried to sleep in the bed together the first night. Speaking of...my dad is just the best. The second night Sis and BIL were here, just before he and I went to bed (Sis was always in bed by 9:00 PM, and BIL usually retired around 10:00; Dad's normal bedtime is around 10:30 and mine is anywhere from 11:30-1:00 AM), Dad asked me if I was OK on the couch and volunteered to switch with me. Like I was about to let my 81 year old father give up his comfy bed to sleep on the couch. It was so sweet of him to offer though. Sis offered to sleep on the couch, and I told her no...not too long after that, she told me she thought our couch was "really" uncomfortable.
