you tracked when you get them to see whether there might be a hormonal timing component? I would get the weird visual (kind of like seeing broken mirrors) followed by a headache after the visual thing stopped. I never got very nauseous and they rarely lasted more than a day. One thing that helped was caffeine (which is an ingredient in Excederin Migraine). A cup of coffee or two usually worked better than the Excederin.
