First, Paris Hilton and crazybusy "swing space" today. We are 9 days and counting until bills must pass the policy committees in their house of origin or they are dead for the year.
Hilton was there to testify on a bill having to do with treatment centers for youth. I am not well-versed in that issue at all, just know she was there to support a Senator Grove bill. I didn't see her; we were there on a couple of our top tier bills doing drop in visits.
Unrelatedly...you know when you get an email from a colleague, and you think it's directed at you but isn't? OMG, I am truly ridiculous. My colleague asked me to put into the weekly update we do on our LTSS Education campaign that she was directed on March 19 to do this particular task. I thought when she asked this, that she was directing this at me, but when we spoke today, she said she wanted it inserted because everyone forgot the conversation about this task.
Guess what? The world does not revolve around me. I even had an entire talk with my therapist about this, only for it to turn out to be a nothingburger :/
