It’s a very well-researched non-fiction book that reads like a novel about some mysterious deaths of the Osage people in 1921 Oklahoma on oil rich land. It’s the kind of American history that they didn’t teach us in school; at least, not when I was a kid. I somehow missed the recent Scorsese movie based on this book. I’ll have to catch up with the movie after I finish the book.
