Catholic, as is his wife and most of their families. His wife has a sister who's a retired nun and a brother who's a retired priest. I'm going to try to be very, very careful here to not turn this into a political topic...my friend recently sent me a link to an AP article basically saying there's a shift towards "more traditional" Catholic values among younger Catholics. Certainly not ALL younger Catholics but it was surprising to me as in my faith (Baptist), the opposite seems to be true. The younger people are embracing more New Testament teachings on tolerance and love while dismissing Old Testament teachings on obedience and following the law as God laid it out.

(for the record, none of the many Catholics I know would agree with HB either)
