I'd root for...I like the Pacers because they're another Midwest team and because I know, and like, a number of people rooting for them or rooting against NY. But my favorite band--Home Free--was born in Minnesota and based in Minnesota and two of the members still live there and root for Minnesota teams so there's that.

I'm still sad Boston eliminated my Cavs (and in five games, just as I predicted), but I'm proud of my team for not just giving up. First we were without our star center Jarret Allen, then Donovan Mitchell--THE #1 player on our team--went out and finally, before the last game, we also lost Caris LeVert, who is maybe not our greatest player but is certainly capable of having a big game here and there. I truly expected the Cavs would be blown out in game five, especially since it was on Boston's court, and if you saw the final score, you might think we WERE blown out. But we actually had the lead numerous times during the game and were tied at halftime.

I did get annoyed at the TNT announcer when he said, and I quote, "I don't know if Cleveland could've beat Boston even at full strength". Sure, Boston beat us twice in the regular season and we (barely) beat them once but again, we were missing key players for the two losses. I'm sure almost all loyal fans feel this way but except for the years when the Cavs had LeBron, I don't feel the media has ever respected any of our sports teams and often seemed to pretty blatantly favor our opponents.
