All I know is if Eddie suddenly has feelings for Buck—I might be done with the show. They are best friends. He loves and supports Buck. Leave it at that. I don’t want them paired romantically.
I don't think it's headed that way or at least hope not. I was never a Buddie person. I like them best as friends and, honestly, the petty part of me just can't stand that shipper base. The most vocal ones are really toxic, down to now harassing and spreading rumors about the Tommy actor. Like, go outside, people. Touch some grass.
I was never pro or anti Buck and Eddie. I just never shipped them because I really didn't, and still don't, think there's a chance in hell of them happening. As Tanya said above, Buck's sexuality has always been a little bit open. I don't see that with Eddie.
And I hate to trash fan bases because ship what you want to ship...etc. But yeah, they've been toxic towards all the love interests of Buck and Eddie. And they delusionally set themselves up and get mad when things don't happen the way they convinced themselves it would even if their speculation didn't make any sense.
And the worst part is anyone who gets into a discussion or ship war with them starts to respond with the same toxicity.
