Catherine can suck it!! Firing all these Senior Drs. She's on such a power trip!
I'm Team Catherine. I think she was well within her right to fire them all. Teddy took funds without authorization and used them for a project that the head of the foundation had shutdown. She disobeyed and thus her firing was warranted. Meredith has done this before. When she thinks she's right--she will get tunnel-vision and collateral damage be damned! She already embarrassed Catherine at the event by blindsiding her. She could have been fired then.
Owen is awful. I've NEVER liked him. I only wish Catherine had fired him in front of everyone as he shouted at her in front of everyone. Someone I know at work got fired for the same thing, but he yelled at our manager behind closed doors. The entire thing stemmed from the employee doing something we were all told NOT to do.
I am not happy about Ben returning. I do not like him. He always thinks he's right and doesn't seem to know what he wants to do career wise. He was tired of being a doctor and so then FF was his calling. But the entire time we saw him still acting like a surgeon. Now, he's back to be a surgeon. The character is not that great.
I felt like it was a rather tame finale. The first 5 episodes were stronger and then it kinda tapered off. I do give them grace as they had to crank out 10 episodes quickly after the strike ended. I thought that Nick would propose to Meredith or Simone/Lucas would exchange ILYs.
But Bailey at the end had me yelling,Yessss!!!!!
Loved the ending!
Oh and for anyone reading/wondering about Bens fate..he goes back to Grey Sloan 🙂
