I'm still burnt out on mysteries from reading so many in high school, but I do want to re-read The Cat Who...series and Susan Conant's Dog Lovers Mysteries, but it was always for the quirky characters and animals and never for the mystery.

At any rate, I don't think I'll be looking for Christina Dodd any time soon.

I mention the two series as I know you like quirky small town (though The Cat Who doesn't move from the City to Moose County, 500 miles north of anywhere, until I think Book 5). Susan Conant's books take place in the real Boston suburb Cambridge, Mass. (home of Harvard), and I think you have to be a huge dog lover to love her books, because the mysteries were always lacking, but the dogs Rowdy and Kimi were always awesome.
