The car we'd planned/hoped to buy at our local Toyota dealership didn't pass muster. The sales rep said that the vehicle has gasket issues. (Leaks waiting for a time and place of their choosing to fail.) They dealership is holding a check from us with first right of refusal.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, afternoon, we'll go look at another vehicle there. My daughter's not happy about the color, but is willing to test drive it. As I see it, there's no need to rush to get a vehicle she doesn't like.
The hunt for the replacement vehicle continues. The old, dead one was supposed to be picked up Monday. We've mailed the title. My daughter is supposed to get a check for the vehicle (a little over $2K) in the mail.
